saturday afternoon i hosted a cooking class here.
the lovely kim garr of c'est la vegan bakery taught us
how to bake fruit bars, pudding cake, and chai spice cookies.
yum!
she wrote about it on her blog, with beautiful photos taken by jackie.
it was such a delight to be able to host a vegan cooking class.
when we bought the house
one of our dreams was to host events just like this.
thank you, kim, for helping us realize one of our dreams.
look forward to hosting more vegan cooking classes!
Darnit...wish you were closer! I definately would have come over for this, it sounds like a lot of fun and I always love to get new recipes.
ReplyDeleteYour kitchen's looking pretty...I love your shelves of spices.
Hope all's well with you...any new house projects going on?
maybe next time sarah can fly out from nebraskie and we can shoot on over. wouldn't that be fun! sarah is right, your kitchen looks fab.
ReplyDeletesarah, wish we were closer, too! my friend jackie calls those shelves my "general store." :)
ReplyDeleteprojects: lots of ideas, not enough money. but I think the next things are building a small workshop space onto the garage, and painting the exterior.
janet, thanks! i love the kitchen. and both of you are such awesome commenters on the blog.
You're the best, Tera! It was such a pleasure to work in your beautiful kitchen, and I can't thank you enough for hosting (but I'm going to keep trying!). Also, I <3 the general store.
